Fees Explained
Our preschool sessions are 8:30am to 12pm or 12pm to 3:30pm (3.5hrs) you can use 3hrs ETFE funding against these. There is a charge for the additional half an hour per session, this is currently £8.45.
We welcome children with funded places including all 3 and 4-year-olds and eligible 2-year-olds. Two-year-olds with parents in receipt of eligible benefits or tax credits are entitled to funded places, find out if you’re eligible and apply online.

We offer free standalone 15/30 hours only sessions (without consumable and extras) to children eligible to disadvantaged entitlement . These sessions run 8:15am to 12pm or 11.45am to 3:30pm or all day 8.00am-3.30pm, please contact us directly for more information. EYFE funding for eligible 2-year-olds and EYFE for 3 or 4 years olds 15 hours per week. Our sessions are 3.5hr and you can use 3hrs funding against these. Funding allows you to have 5 half days (8:30am to 12pm or 12.00pm to 3:30pm) or 2 days (8:30am to 3:30pm) and 1 half day, 38 weeks per year.
Bank Holidays and other non-attendance
We do not charge for bank holidays. There’s no reduction in charges for absence due to holiday, sickness or any other reason.
Administration Fees
For new families, a £25 administration fee is payable along with your registration forms. This non-refundable fee secures your child’s place at Fiveways Playcentre. Each academic year sessions are updated and all information is checked; to cover this additional admin a small fee will be charged in Sept invoice. Existing children will be charged £15, and siblings are charged at £10.
What to do if you decide to leave
As part of our Parent Contract one months’ notice is required prior to decreasing sessions or withdrawing your child. Should you wish to withdraw your child from the Nursery, you must provide one month’s written notice by email to the Nursery Manager. Should you withdraw your child from the nursery without providing one month’s written notice, the notice period will be deemed to have started on your child’s last day. Notice is not required if during the first month of settling either party wishes to end the agreement.
